She has been creating interesting work since she began her stay in Sapporo. She asked several people to sing the same song and put them together in editing to create harmonies in a humorous video piece. She also has a video blog on YouTube, demonstrating her unique skill as a visual artist. Her vision and modern style has brought her attention in New Zealand as an up and coming artist.

At her talk show, Janet showed video and stills from her student days, as well as works she has posted on YouTube. Each piece gave the audience a sense of connection through movement, something that came from a combination of Janet’s unique vision and humor.

After the talk show, most people stayed to speak with Janet themselves. The few who remained until the very end were lucky enough to see a surprise video.
