The Largest Christmas Tree In The World
On December 22nd and 23rd, 2008, "The Largest Christmas Tree In The World - NOLE 2008" took place in Odori park, Central Sapporo.
This event began as Sapporo illustrator BAKU (Baku Maeda) saw Odori park from the TV Tower and thought, "This could become the world's biggest Christmas tree!" In this sixth year of the event, the decision was made to attempt to be recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records.
